Ted Melnyk is Director of Operations at ELDI and joined the staff in 2012. Ted has over 35 years of experience in youth, community, and housing initiatives. He has expertise in grant writing, public speaking, and property acquisition. He can also install furnaces and snake drains, because he’s budget-conscious and owns a modest portfolio of rental properties. 

Ted has a degree in Business Administration from Westminster College, a Master’s Degree in Public Policy & Management from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Arts & Religion from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He and his wife Anne live in Highland Park, and their four grown children have also stayed and chosen to make Pittsburgh’s East End home for their families.
