WHY MAIN + ELM EXISTS

Born out of decades of experience in specific neighborhoods and recognized by industry stalwarts for the opportunity to expand operations to meet the need, Main + Elm was created for expanding our real estate development capacity to the entire City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, and beyond.

We do what the private market doesn’t do, but society agrees is a community- and individual-supportive service: project management of attainable homeownership, and main street (apartments over retail) real estate development projects.

We connect with concerned citizens and learn their goals for the future of their community. We partner with the neighborhood to bring to life the homeownership and main street components of their community plan to positively, incrementally, and systematically improve neighborhoods, build equity, and provide variety.

Our experience and connections help those plans become a reality that honors a community’s past, celebrates its current residents, and establishes a bright future for the next generation.
